Home

So this whole getting adjusted thing after the wedding has proved to be harder than I thought. You don't really think about the next step (real life after the wedding) until it actually hits you. Moving away, finding a job, law school, bills, the blazing heat down here (it's already 105 degrees), making new friends, family wards, and the list could go on. I definitely feel more like an adult, or I feel like I at least need to try to act like one :). Lately I've been feeling bad because Michael keeps asking me if this (Arizona) feels like home yet. Honestly, the last couple of weeks I haven't been able to answer yes. It seems like you learn something new everyday after you get married. Whether it's about your significant other or just about life in general. I've learned in the past couple of days that my home is Michael and I can't imagine being anywhere else. St. George will always be home for both Michael and I, nothing will replace the memories we have there. But, as we start this new life together I realize that it doesn't matter where we are. As long as I'm with Michael, I'm home and I'm happy.

So long St. George...

...and hello Arizona!

  3. Glad you have joined the blog world. Derek will probably hassle Michael for updates which in turn means Michael will hassle you...sorry about that. They're two of a kind. Not sure what to do about it.
